Illuminare Score editor question

I've been learning how to use Gregorio in the Illuminare Score editor the past few days and will probably have several questions as I dig deeper.

First question, why are the notes not connected on wishes in the attached example? They are in the preview, but when converted to pdf the re and la become offset with no connection. I thought it would be a simple wish(dh)
